Has Instagram Deleted Hushpuppis Page With 2.8M Followers? Here Is What We Know

September 2024 · 2 minute read

Ramon Hushpuppi Abbas, one of the most well-known con artists in Nigeria is facing trial in the US, however, his Instagram account is nowhere to be found.

Recall that in 2020, the infamous yahoo boy was extradited from Dubai, and the trial has since been adjourned for the verdict more than thrice.

Judge Wright first shifted the sentencing from February 14 to July 11, 2022, then to September 21, and finally to November 7.

The Hushpuppi page with 2.8 million followers has since vanished from the image-sharing website, though. Doing a quick search on Instagram pulls out no result to his real Instagram page.

Meanwhile, Ghgossip is not quite sure if Instagram has taken down his account or if someone who has access to his Instagram page has rendered it temporarily unavailable.

When we obtain more information, we will update you on it. Stay glued!

MEANWHILE: Pac, Hushpuppi’s best friend wrote an open letter to the suspect as the day of the court’s decision approaches.

Pac reaffirmed his loyalty to Hushpuppi in a statement on Instagram and expressed optimism for their reunion.

In his words:

“Dear Rahman, I write you from a place of hope and pain, the hope that as your verdict draws close and a pronouncement kick starts, our reunion is made possible, and the pain that comes with every day knowing that you are in there.

“Rahman, it’s your third birthday behind guard bars, I pray that you continue to find strength, and I pray for peace From within, that powers you into greatness.”
