A DEBUT season of the Golden Bachelorette is in the works, a casting ad has revealed.

Fans of the Golden Bachelor have been begging the show's producers to cast the runner-up.

On the first season of the dating show, Gerry Turner, 72, ended his season by proposing to Theresa Nist but letting go of Leslie Fhima - shocking fans.

Now that the show is over and is loved by many, ABC is reportedly bringing on its first-ever Golden Bachelorette - and is looking for suitable bachelors to date the lead.

In a new casting commercial, it was revealed that single seniors can sign up.

To be eligible for the show, candidates must be legal residents of the United States or Canada (minus Quebec), must show a legal form of ID, and two recent photos, one selfie, and a full body.

One viewer wrote: "Leslie. Someone with personality!"

"Leslie 100%," another agreed.

However, others added other women that were seen throughout the season.

"Susan Leslie Ellen or Joan are like very possible answers too. I can’t choose. Make them all have a season," exclaimed a third.

A fourth wrote: "Joan!"

Another person exclaimed: "SUSAN," while someone else said: "love Faith."

Meanwhile, some other fans want someone they've never seen before.

"Start fresh with a new lady," a fifth said.

A sixth added: "Start with someone new. Not from the show."

"How about start a new trend and go with new women and men that were not on previous seasons," someone else stated.

GETTING MARRIED!

During the Golden Bachelor season finale, it was revealed that Gerry and Theresa's wedding will happen live on January 4.

Gerry and Theresa spent the night out on the town in New York City.

Earlier this week, they attended a Variety event where there was a The Golden Bachelor screening, Q&A, and a reception.

The couple sat next to each other on a stage in front of a large crowd while answering questions about the show.

Theresa was wearing a short-sleeve and form-fitting tan dress with nude heels.

Gerry was sporting a blue suit with a light blue shirt and a matching tie.

At the end of the question and answer session, the duo stood up and embraced in a passionate kiss while the crowd applauded.

The kiss lasted for several seconds, and Gerry even dipped Theresa toward the audience before he took a breath.

However, the dip wasn't very graceful on Theresa's part because there was a chair in her way.

Instead of lifting one leg directly in the air, she was forced to spread her legs while lifting one in a strange bent position.

FIRST CHRISTMAS TOGETHER

Gerry and Theresa have begun celebrating the Christmas season together, and they united their families for a holiday party.

The TV star took to his Instagram feed to share a snap of his new blended family.

Theresa could be seen next to her daughter Jen Woolston, and behind them were Gerry's daughters Angie and Jenny.

Gerry shares his two daughters with his late wife, Toni.

Everyone pictured wore massive smiles and a sweatshirt that said "A Very Gerry Christmas."
