The actor arrived at the 2024 Met Gala looking radiant in a glassy transparent gown by Balmain, which made her look like she was enveloped in hard ice.

The sculptural off-the-shoulder wrap dress had flowers coming off the neckline, and a flowy skirt. Fanning wore it with simple silver sandals and cascading diamond earrings by Cartier. She kept her makeup rosy and simple, and wore her blonde hair in waves tucked behind her ears.

The theme of the night is “The Garden of Time,” based on the art museum’s new exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and Fanning embodied it perfectly in her romantic ensemble.

At least year’s Met Gala, she looked downright angelic in a flowing white lace gown that paid homage to a special moment she shared with the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, whom the gala honored. She finished the look with a cropped black jacket.
