CM Punks WWE RAW Return Promo on November 27th Unaltered by Time Constraints

June 2024 · 3 minute read

CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series, but he waited until the final segment during the November 27th episode of WWE RAW to speak his mind. Punk did so with a promo about change, and then he wrapped everything up by saying he’s not in WWE to make friends, because he’s there to make money. A report came out about that promo later on, but we have told that everything went according to plan.

A report came out saying that CM Punk’s promo was cut for time, because Randy Orton and Dominik Mysterio’s match went a bit longer than they intended. It was also stated that CM Punk wants to put his controversy from AEW in the past. He didn’t mention Tony Khan’s company during his promo, and no allusions to anything AEW was intended at all.

Ringside News reached out to confirm this story about CM Punk having his promo cut for time. We are told that the report on Punk’s promo being abbreviated “is not correct.” We are told that, “Punk did not abbreviate his promo.“

We were additionally told that CM Punk’s “promo is what is written on the script that was given to the truck and was in gorilla during segment 16 of the show.” CM Punk was supposed to go on last, and it seems that they didn’t cut anything from his time on the microphone, either.

Ringside News also exclusively reported on CM Punk’s brand status. Although he is listed as a free agent internally, he is assigned to the RAW brand right now. He will continue showing up on Monday nights, and it appears that everything is going according to plan so far.

Only time will tell what is in the future. Cutting CM Punk’s time very well may happen down the line, because anything can happen on live television. It will also be interesting to see how a changed CM Punk may deal with those creative changes.

We will have more on this story, and so many more in the pro wrestling world, right here at Ringside News. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all the headlines you need.
